What's Happening
Earlier this year we attempted to introduce beautiful houses for key workers: police officers, firefighters, nurses, teachers, and many other young professionals.
We wanted to sell house and land packages from just $390,000 to help attract young talents to Lawrence to bring jobs, vibrancy, and happy vibes. We wanted to save the local school from closing down, and to build pedestrian sidewalks and a number of amazing amenities for everyone to enjoy.
Unfortunately, council only heard one side of the story.
Young people like us can't afford houses on acreage blocks.
At this stage the council denied our efforts, but not all hope is lost.
Your Can Make a Difference
First home or rough sleeping
We are here to solve a national problem. Young people earning median wages can't afford acreage blocks. We still want to give the opportunity for young families and professionals to get their first home.
No stagnation
We do not want Lawrence to look like a depressing place. We want to avoid a situation where the town looks like an abandoned place.
A place for families
We still want to try and build a key worker village with happy vibes, young kids, and fantastic amenities. However, we need your support. Let the council know that you support more development in Lawrence.
